Nyanza-Lac is a small town in the south of Burundi, in the province of Makamba. It lies on the edge of the Lake Tanganyikaone of the world's largest and deepest lakes. It's a quiet, natural and pleasant place to visit.

Nyanza-Lac is about 3 to 4 hours drive of Bujumbura. You can get there by car or minibus. It's a pleasant journey through beautiful countryside.
